VCPG provides training courses to help further your marksmanship and equip you with the knowledge necessary for any situation you may come across, be it as a civilian or an Executive Protection specialist. Our experienced team of professionals will guide you through our comprehensive curriculums which range from beginner to advanced levels.

Description and Gear

The shotgun is one of the most misunderstood weapons when it comes to tactical applications.


Tactical use of the pump-action and semi-automatic shotgun requires a deep understanding and appreciation of its capabilities, handling characteristics and limitations. This intensive one day class bridges the gap between entry level foundational shotgun skills and the world of tactical shotgun use. Students will become familiar with the fundamentals, mindset and tactical use in real world engagements. Students will be guided through an array of realistic live fire drills to increase their confidence and proficiency when operating the shotgun. Also included will be a ballistic lab to ensure the students know the capabilities and shortcomings of tactical shotgun use.


Basic Range Gear 

  • Pump or semi auto tactical shotgun (not a hunting shotgun)
  • 25 rounds buckshot 
  • 25 rounds slugs
  • 25 rounds birdshot

Description and Gear

This 2-day course is designed for the novice marksman, to those who want to truly understand long range shooting. This course will rapidly introduce the students to  equipment set up, fundamentals of marksmanship, intro to ballistics and atmospherics, creating rifle DOPE cards and the use of ballistic apps. This course's main goals are to familiarize the student with their weapon system and to establish relationships with them.


Basic Range Gear


  • 200 rounds of precision rifle ammo (Hornady ELD)
  • Precision rifle with precision rifle scope (not a BDC reticle or hunting scope) with exposed turrets (Leupold mk5hd 3.5-18 or 5-25 tremor 3 reticle is our fave.)
  • Shooting mat with bipod foot straps
  • Notepad or range book
  • Rear bag
  • Adjustable bipod
  • Applied ballistics app or kestrel weather station link with applied ballistics app 
  • Recommend a spotting scope and rangefinder but not needed

Description and Gear

This course focuses on the employment of a scoped carbine to its max point effective range.  The long range gas gun course concentrates on maintaining precision while rapidly engaging multiple targets using holdovers along with dialing of the shooter's DOPE. Shooters will push their rifle and themselves to the limit while engaging targets at known and unknown distances.

  • Precision ar15 (no SBRs or pistols recommend 18” to 22”) calibers 556 to 6.5 grendel
  • 300 rounds precision ammo (Hornady ELD)
  • 20-rnd size mags 30-rnd size affect ability to use bipods

Description and Gear

This course is designed to provide skills that will enable anyone from the international traveler to the prepper for societal collapse, to detect surveillance from your hometown to permissive to semi-permissive environments. Counter Surveillance is designed to teach the principles and techniques necessary to detect surveillance-threats, and create a threat matrix. 


This course will be conducted in any city or urban and rural environments.


**This is an enhanced training course. All attendees will be required to submit proof of criminal background check, copies of State/Federal identification, and complete an applicant questionnaire. Specific details of this training will not be disclosed to anyone who has not completed the application process. Description and Gear

If you have ever wanted to know how you would react in a true capture and escape situation, this is the class for you. You will learn the basics of food, water, shelter and fire procurements, how to evade and avoid the eyes of captors. Students will learn the techniques to resist interrogations and how to escape from detained situations. This is not for the faint of heart you will be pushed to your limits and possibly beyond.

Description and Gear

This 2-day course will provide practical training on observation skills and driving techniques used by protective security professionals to push their vehicles to the max yet be able to maintain control and safety for its occupants. The training emphasizes the importance of being mentally prepared to evaluate situations and to react in an effective manner. Each student learns to use their vehicle to its full potential.

Robert Lamm

After spending 5 years in the Marine Corps, Rob worked 13 years as an OGA contractor specializing in Mobile, Static and Training operations. After which he became a Firearms instructor catering to law enforcement, military and civilian clients. His laid back yet safe approach to firearms training has helped him develop an amazing training program all types of shooters benefit from.

Bradley Waldron 


|| California's Basic & Advanced Firearms Instructor ||

Bradley Waldron is a part time firearms instructor in Northern California. He spent 4 years in the Army as an engineer. Now he spends his weekdays as an asphalt engineer and his weekends in classes. Bradley values his own training equally as he does his own instruction, because he understands that fundamental firearms skills are paramount. His solid, yet balanced, knowledge of safety and fundamentals benefits first-time and intermediate shooters alike.

Frank Quintana


|| California Basic & Concealed Carry Weapons Instructor ||

Frank Quintana is the lead CA firearms instructor for Veterans Covert Protection Group. He worked in Law Enforcement for over 23 years as a Tactical Operator for USCG Counter Drug Teams and Anti-Terrorist Units. Since 2016, he has been working in Executive Protection, helping to protect high net worth clients, celebrities, and dignitaries, while also helping individuals learn basic and advance pistol training.
