Sac Shooting Course

2-day Shooting Experience

February 26 & 29, 2021

Course Details & Requirements


This training experience is designed to develop the skills needed to enhance your

marksmanship with pistol and carbine models. It will cover the basic safety measures, coach

you on how to alter your shooting technique in various set-postions and on the move as well as

simulate high-stress scenarios. The course will take place over two days in Sacramento, CA.

Participants are required to bring their own firearms and ammunition.


Day 1 - Handgun Training/Qual


  • Safety Brief


  • Overview Of Basics

       - Stance

       - Grip

       - Sight Picture/ Sight Alignment

       - Trigger Press

       - Workspace/ Draw


  • DOS/WPPS Qual Cold


  • Individual Evaluation and Performance

       - Dot Torture Test

       -  El Presidente

       - Dot Torture Test

       - Cadence Drill

       - Walk Off

Day 2 - Carbine Training/Qual


  • Safety Brief


  • Basic Operation of a carbine


  • Zeroing and why at distance sight offset


  • Carbine handling

        - Stance, Grip, trigger control, optic/sight picture/focus

       - Safety Up Drills

       - Dot torture test 5m

       - Sling use and operation


  • Standing, kneeling, sitting prone and fluid movement


  • Reloads/ Malfunctions

- El Presedente

- Chaos


Required Equipment

Recommended supplies:


  • Long sleeved shirt
  • Ball cap
  • Sunglasses for eye protection or clear safety glasses
  • Hard shell hearing protection
  • Food/Snacks
  • No open toe shoes or low-cut shirts
  • No Live Ammunition in the classroom
